Sifters - KEK Centrifugal Sifters | high volume, efficiently & with speed

KEK Centrifugal Sifter with Easy Clean, Hygienic Cantilever Design

A Centrifugal Sifter (also known as Rotary Sifter) is used to sift and screen a high volume of material at high speed and with greater efficiency, in comparison to other food sifters. Sifting material not only provides size classification – separating material that isn’t of the required size, but also ensures a ‘screening process’ for de-risking.

Kemutec’s KEK Centrifugal Sifters provide the ideal sifting and screening solution for dry powder and other bulk solids. It’s specialised ‘Cantilever’ design offers users unprecedented, high standards in hygiene. This is achieved through it’s easy access and rapid screen change functionality, averaging just 30 seconds.

The KEK Sifter is also designed to typically provide tool free maintenance. This results in optimised uptime and output. In addition to this, our Sifter is very easy to operate, making the ‘sifting/screening’ process simple for the user.

Centrifugal Sifters are typically used in the food and powder processing industries – which makes hygiene paramount and the KEK Sifter a perfect solution.

With KEK, powders and granules can be sifted in gravity and inline applications. It’s output ranges from over 90 tonnes per hour, down to a few kilograms.

KEK Sifter Screen Options

KEK Centrifugal Sifters are available with various screening media options, to suit the specific application needs. These include:

Nylon Mesh

The most popular and versatile screening media. It provides high throughput rates and a wide range of mesh sizes down to 30µ.

Steel Mesh

Offers a wide size range and beneficial where applications require metal-detectable screen media.

Wedge Wire

A heavy-duty “slotted” type metal screen for abrasive check-sieving applications.

Perforated Plate

A heavy duty metal screen for high capacity check-sieving and abrasive materials.

Special Polymers

It is similar to Nylon Screens but uses special polymers, that can be resistant to high temperatures, corrosive products and static electricity.

In addition to these, KEK Centrifugal Sifters can be supplied with internal screen protectors and trash traps.
