Due to the variety of product types and sizes a Centrifugal Sifter handles, we manufacture their screens using a range of materials. Available in nylon mesh, woven wire mesh, wedge wire slotted and perforated plate; Kemutec sifting screens are carefully manufactured in our UK production facility by experienced fabricators and are distributed world-wide.

Materials and Colours – Even Hand Made Options
Available for fine to coarse sifting, hand sewn nylon mesh screens are typically supplied in various colours and fabrics, dependant on the application. To minimise the risk of replacing a screen with one made from the wrong material, a colour on a Nylon Screen can be included. This is designed to make change-over easier for the operator, knowing that it’s simply a ‘Blue Screen’ change.
Screen Options:
- Nylon Mesh – the most popular and versatile screen, benefiting from high throughput rates. It offers a wide range of mesh sizes down to 30µ
- Special Polymers – are similar to Nylon Screens but are produced using special polymers, that can be resistant to high temperatures, corrosive products and static electricity
- Steel Mesh – a wide size range that is beneficial for applications that require metal-detectable screen media
- Wedge Wire – a heavy-duty “slotted” metal screen, which is used for abrasive check-sieving applications
- Perforated Plate – a very robust metal screen for high capacity check-sieving and abrasive applications
